When muffins toss'd betwixt the derp'd and gray
Bring substance to an otherworldly kin
Then grace alone cannot suffice today
To save the zebra here from wrath and din
If, lo, his target set he elsewhere free
Perhaps his head upon his trunk would hold
Instead, dear Lyra, watch and learn and see
As Hooves of Derp descend to steer and scold
Aye, Fetch, 'tis mourning morning now belies
As pegasus of fan-ascension spikes
The "help!", the groans, the yelps, the yips, the cries
From zebra decked with flowers whom she strikes
His mane now stomped, the muffin-tosser down'd;
Don't mess with Derp 'less Fetch flees fast as sound!
